Joshua should be a statistic. He is a 20 something black male living in the inner-city. Ready to break the mold and do something positive with his life, he dreams of a successful career. But he's convinced his environment is holding him back.
His mentor offers him an amazing life-changing opportunity but only if he succeeds in reviving the tumultuous Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
King Blvd is a social comedy that depicts the perplexing phenomena of many Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd streets being located in blighted neighborhoods (aka the hood).
As we begin to create the 90 minute+ full length King Blvd Feature Film, funds are needed to cover production startup costs including, securing filming locations, casting, story-boarding, filming equipment, audio recording, editing, legal, marketing and so much more. We are truly appreciative of any support you can offer. Supporting the project will not only allow our team to create content that entertains and elevates but also unveil an underlying issue and provide a vehicle for change.

As a young man growing up in Detroit, MI I noticed our MLK street didn't reflect the world-changing leader I learned about in school. The dark reality of the MLK street I saw didn't equal the light Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood for. Once I began to visit other places and research other cities throughout the USA, I realized this wasn't isolated to just Detroit. - Earl Hardy, KING BLVD, Writer, Producer
